Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ItemWorth handles information in its Android app, including local item data, advertising, consent choices, analytics, and ad-revenue measurement. ItemWorth helps users understand the average daily cost of items they own.

Information you enter

When you use ItemWorth, you may choose to enter item names, purchase prices, purchase dates, notes, and optional item photos. This information is used to power the app's item list, total value summary, and average daily cost calculations.

Photos and camera access

The app may request camera access so you can capture a photo for an item, and photo-library access so you can choose an existing image from your device. These permissions are used only for the photo features inside the app.

The app performs image processing on-device to prepare sticker-style photo previews. Item names, notes, prices, photos, and generated stickers are not sent to advertising or analytics providers by ItemWorth's event-tracking code.

How data is stored

Item records are stored locally on the device. Photos generated or saved inside the app are stored in app-managed device storage. Internet access is used for advertising, consent, analytics, and related network services.

Advertising and consent

ItemWorth uses Google AdMob to request and display ads, including app-open, interstitial, rewarded, native, and banner ads. Google and participating mediation providers may process information such as the Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, consent signals, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, diagnostic data, and impression-level revenue data, subject to their settings and policies.

Where required, ItemWorth uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent and provide privacy choices. You can reopen available privacy choices from the app's Settings screen. Advertising requests and cached ads are re-evaluated after those choices change.

Analytics and ad-revenue measurement

ItemWorth uses Firebase Analytics for app and advertising measurement, DataEye for product funnel and advertising analytics, and AppsFlyer for install attribution, campaign measurement, deep-link attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising return-on-spend analysis. AppsFlyer may receive an AppsFlyer install identifier, device and app information, IP/network information, Advertising ID where available, Google Play Install Referrer data, app sessions, attribution fields, and ad-impression revenue when its SDK starts in the production release.

Ad impression revenue is obtained from the advertising SDK's paid callback and is sent to DataEye, Firebase Analytics, and AppsFlyer together with ad format, ad unit, placement, currency, revenue, and a random diagnostic trace identifier. ItemWorth does not use item names, notes, photos, or raw purchase-price text for this measurement.

• DataEye: product funnel and advertising analytics. See the DataEye Policy Center and Privacy Policy.
• AppsFlyer and Google Play Install Referrer: install and campaign attribution, deep-link attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising revenue/ROAS measurement. Only an approved attribution-field set is copied into DataEye; ItemWorth does not send the raw AppsFlyer callback or raw Install Referrer URL to DataEye. See the AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy.
• No account registration is required for the core app experience.
• No built-in payment or subscription flow is present in the current Android build.
• No cloud sync is described in the current local storage flow.

Sharing of information

ItemWorth does not sell the item content you enter. Information described above may be shared with the advertising, consent, and analytics providers listed above so they can deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and operate their services. If you contact support by email, the email content is handled by your email provider and the support workflow.

Data retention and deletion

You can edit or remove items inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app may remove local app data, subject to device backup and operating-system behavior. Advertising and analytics providers retain data according to their own policies and applicable law. Available consent and privacy choices can be changed from Settings.

Children's privacy

ItemWorth is a general consumer utility and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information in a way that raises concern, please contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

Policy updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated over time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or support processes. The latest version should be published at the privacy-policy URL used for the app listing and support materials.
